Tilly and the Wall are going on a tour this summer to support their new album "O" - out June 17th on Team Love (though you can get it on June 3rd).

Tickets are on sale (@ noon) for a July 29th show at Music Hall of Williamsburg and for one the next day at Bowery Ballroom.

Derek's other band Flowers Forever is touring this summer too (with Lightspeed Champion) and they are also playing Bowery Ballroom. All Tilly dates below....

the show at Knitting Factory was great. Even better was the last time they played Bowery. THAT show was a total blast.

I thought there were five members of Tilly & The Wall, but there are eight people in the photo besides Lightspeed Champion.

two official things:

"Tilly and the Wall recently performed in a music video acquired by Sesame Street to use in their upcoming 39th season. The band recorded their own version of the ABC song, and the result is nothing short of magical. Their music video will appear on Sesame Street this fall."

"Their live show features the band performing as a seven-piece."
