Why: Raise money and awareness for AIDS fighting efforts in Liberia

New York, NY, May 11, 2008 – A benefit show held at Piano's on May 19th is to raise money to help fund an AIDS awareness program in Liberia. Humanitarian Notes, the organization the concert will benefit, focuses on using popular African musicians to get the word out about AIDS in their home countries. Three New York based bands will play a show on the Lower East Side to benefit artists in Liberia. The show features Rails to Russia, the States, and Lion of Ido, all of whom have agreed to play the show for free. Tickets will be $10. More information can be found at

i have two orchestra tickets to Swell Season tonight that I must sell. Friend bailed and can't make it. Selling at regular value + ticketmaster charge ($120 for both). I hate doing this on BV but contact me if you are interested.

the swell season at radio city was indescribably amazing... at least 4 standing ovations during the course of the 2 hour show, including one that lasted through "into the mystic" as the closer. and two years ago, they were thrilled about selling out piano's...
