Too bad Flaming Lips aren't on the schedule because that would be even wilder than Ted Leo was.

I'll be at Dead Confederate at Piano's:

For anyone who hasn't seen the schedule recently, the time slots have been moved. Dead Confederate are now playing at 10pm and the (most excellent) Loom have been moved to midnight.

"I'll be at Dead Confederate at Piano's"

I'll be the hipster at the Union Hall show tonight, likely in ironic glasses and tight jeans. I used all of my savings this week on a $10 ticket. Bring me rice and beans if you can!

No comment with helpful information is immune from the anonymous jerk-off comments that have reduced the signal to noise ratio here to zero.

I'll be jacking your bicycle, 12:04.

nyctaper: 11:58 might've been serious. it's sometimes good to know which shows you're at since you, like, provide a good little taping service. [seriously!]

im going to do 3 laps in central park on my bike, meet some chick for drinks, and then watch the lost season finale.

That vid up there freaks me out a bit...

What's more important is the set time change. People who haven't checked the Piano's listing (or The Loom's myspace) could have shown up at midnight (DC's original time) and completely missed their set.

yes, this is a cool new idea, all the anonymous post what they will doing tonight.

So anyone hitting up the Bowsery to see a band called The Kin?
Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2008 12:37 PM
Woah. The Beatles tribute band's ticket prices:
US $45.00 - US $125.00
How is a Beatles tribute band big enough to:
a) play Radio City?
b) charge those prices?

"How is a Beatles tribute band big enough to:"
I noticed they recently played multiple nights at Terminal 5.
Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2008 12:42 PM
the set times have been switched again and the loom are actually playing at 11 tonight

"Who in the world is going to see a random Beatles cover band?"
Fab Faux is a combination of members of the David Letterman & The Conan O'Brien shows' bands. If you're into pro studio musicians playing Beatles covers... then it's your thing.

Dillinger 4 and Murphy's Law in the same post.
love you BV

"How is a Beatles tribute band big enough to... charge those prices?"
They don't appeal to broke-ass hipsters.

I really can't see why anyone gives a crap about Black Lips. They are absolutely horrible, have no talent, and are a complete waste of time, space, energy, air, etc.

does aanyone else find nyctaper a bit annoying and snide
and as bad as the commenters that he retorts
i dunno
i mean word you're cool for taping stuff but it doesn't give you a special card of immunity of not sounding like a tool just much as the others
ie: probably me right now
i'm sorry
Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2008 2:43 PM
I just had a thought: what if 'Anonymous' is actually one REAL person named 'Anonymous' that spends ALL his time POSTING on BV?!
Again...just a thought.
Posted by greg | May 29, 2008 2:54 PM

The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time. The ‘foot repair’ pain was intense, greater than I'd anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet. Make no mistake, AEROSMITH has no plans to stop rocking. There’s a new album to record, then another tour.
