Anyone catch when Tippy Toes actually goes on for their Lucky Cat gigs? I went by last month's shortly after the advertised show time and that place was desolate so I sallied forth, never to return.

I was at the last one till about halfway through their second set and it was pretty busy. Must have been about 1am or so.

Last month i think they did a set at 10pm and then another at midnight... it was pretty good, though way too much hippie dancing for my personal taste.

i'm biased. mancino is great...quirky, tight fun pop w' smart lyrics...and deserves a lot more attention than it gets. dunno about them cookies unless they've been individually shrink wrapped, but the entire line-up is def worth showing up for.
:)

Illinois are great. Everything I've heard about and from Mancino has all been good. Hopefully the cookies will make the colors sound great.

>>ENOUGH ABOUT THE BLACK KIDS
i think what you meant to say was - ENOUGH ABOUT REGGIE WATTS!!!
Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2008 3:36 PM
enough cannot be said about Reggie Watts. The only perfomer in town where every show is completely different from the last.
