Showtrotta previewed the show at Bodega tonight.

The June 28th Titus show was originally scheduled for 123 House, but was moved to Bodega due to legal problems.

not too common to see "semi-legal" restaurants. I guess that's a good thing...
To be classified as a new "venue" these days... all you need is a shitty PA system and a band.

there's a pretty awesome African restaurant down the block and across the street from Bodega, down between Micheline's and the pizza spot

plus the "Spanish" place over near Market Hotel, across Myrtle and a couple of doors down, next to the liquor store, is fucking awesome. the chicken and beans and rice with fried plantains is terrific.

i am going to my local bodega tonight because it's a venue too. ahmad the bodega guy will get drunk and perform what i believe is a mashup of throat singing and yodeling. admission is free, but you have to buy a tallboy and a porno mag while there.
