Why does Bonaroo look like fucking hell on Earth? All those faux hippies and frat boys. All those white folk. Makes me hate college even more.

ray lewis - why don't you stick your head up your own dank pimpled ass and keep it there, you know, so you won't have to see any more (shudder!) white folk.

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2008 3:50 PM

faux hippies and frat boys. haha. yeah, that doesn't sound like much fun. however, your negativity and holier-than-thou attitude pretty much sucks ass too so i think i'll pass on that also, mr. ray lewis.

Posted by raylewiscan'tdance | June 13, 2008 3:50 PM

the lineup bummed me out this year so I decided to pass. pearl jam and metallica are just not bonnaroo bands. dealing with tool (and all it's tool constituents) last year sucked enough

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2008 4:05 PM

are you kidding me, this year is amazing. i would have dealt with metallica fans just to see the late night sets of sigur ros, morning jacket, mstrkrft, etc

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2008 4:08 PM

I'm watching this thing and Umphrey's McGee sounds like Ratatat

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2008 4:10 PM

what time to black lips start peeing?

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2008 4:12 PM

Umphrey's McGee

really? however technically proficient they all may be at their instruments, who in hell was asleep at the wheel when they took a vote on that name?

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2008 4:12 PM

4:05, i figured pearl jam would fit bonnaroo nicely? they're not that far from a jam band.

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2008 4:37 PM

Your telling me watching thousands of white folks juggle, sit in swing tents, wear Dr. Seuss hats, attend drum circles, and hackey sack isn't scary? C'mon.

god i hate hippies with there fucking string cheese

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2008 9:20 AM

hippies blow. That's why they should just let tool play the whole time.

Posted by toolFan | June 14, 2008 9:58 AM

its very boring having to listen to a jamband play a 45 min song in 4/4 timing. I mean c'mon who can't play a lame hippy solo for as long as they want. I'll give respect to the few that are actually talented but that S.O.S in standard tuning and regular joe timing is soooooo boring, my 12yr brother can jam that all day long. Its almost as bad as writing songs about T-shirts and sneakers. Anyone up for some rap LOL! Gimme music with substance. TOOL-- enough said.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2008 10:31 AM

Tool blows and everyone hating on jam bands sucks even bigger balls...bonnaroo is supposed to be about the jambands and not about tool and metallica(tho metallica does jam their crowd sucks) bonnaroo has totally lost sights of its roots. look at the '02 or '03 lineup it is rediculous.......and anyone hating on umphreys mcgee is going straight to hell.( the name comes from one of the guitarists(Bayliss) cousins it is actually someones real name

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2008 11:15 AM

yeah bro, i'm like stoked about pearl jam. bonnaroo would be like even more ginormous and rad if widespread were there too.

Posted by frat tool | June 14, 2008 1:24 PM

^^

Widespread are there, douchenozzle.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2008 7:46 PM

yer mom's legs are spread wide

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2008 8:00 PM

panic rocks and helped make that festival

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2008 8:06 PM

Widespread Panic might be the single most boring band on the planet. Except for maybe the Disco Biscuits. Maybe.

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2008 8:50 PM

Widespread is terrible! Most jambands are. Say what u want about tool but at least they're original. Everyone has their own preference of music and that's fine but if u think widespread rocks then u probably like phish and they fuckin blow too. Im pretty sure everytime they sit down to write material they're listening to greatful dead and just reversing the cord progression of what song they're hearing. I guess cuz umphreys mcgee is someones real name makes it cool LOL it just means that someone out there besides the band also has a shitty name. Metallica rocks, Tool kicks ass because they dont sound like the greatful dead wannabes these jambands sound like. Maybe oneday widespread will write something with substance to it and I'll change my opinion.

hahahaha...

Kanye West went on stage at like 430 AM... 2 hours later than scheduled... and never apologized or addressed the crowd. He got booed, supposedly the most boo-ing ever at Bonnaroo. Even Robert Randolph started a "Kanye Sucks" chant.

"Pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph criticized West for disappointing his fans."

I don't know, I can't imagine that anyone's decision to go to Bonnaroo was clinched by the inclusion of Kanye on the schedule.

Posted by Anonymous | June 16, 2008 7:22 AM

6:42... Not only did Kanye go on at 4:30 and not address the crowd. His "Glow in the Dark" show happened in day light. Also, while people were throwing glow sticks some dude behind me threw a bottle and it damaged the screen that they were taking so long to set up.
