Citysol starts Thursday. No Dirty Projectors though

Citysol

The four-day Citsol festival kicks off in NYC Thursday night with a free show at Solar One. It looks like this:

6:00 - Ryan Glass aka Slim Dixon
6:45 - Apollo Heights
7:30 - All Out Collective (AOK)
8:30 - Care Bears on Fire
Dirty Projectors were supposed to play the Saturday event, but "unfortunately due to other conflicts the Dirty Projectors will not be able to play their scheduled time slot". There is a secret guest playing the Saturday show though, and The Acorn were also added to the bill.

Now Dirty Projectors' only free NYC show this summer is the one they're playing at South Street Seaport. Read the Citysol site for a listing of all of this weekend's festivities.

Slim Dixon is the man. Most underrated artist living in New York. Apollo Heigts are brilliant as well. Should be a good show.
