Devo toothbrushes

McDonalds & stealing: not cool.

Hasbro, permission & clean teeth: very cool?

Boasting improved sound technology, TOOTH TUNES introduces a special edition toothbrush featuring 'Brush It' by Devo, recorded exclusively for TOOTH TUNES. Brushing with TOOTH TUNES is the only way fans can hear this fun new two minute version of the group's classic song 'Whip It.'

"We are always looking for newer, cooler ways to deliver our music to our fans," said Mark Mothersbaugh, lead singer of 80's rock group DEVO. "Teaming up with Tiger Electronics to record a new version of 'Whip It' for TOOTHTUNES was a blast. Not only do our fans get to experience one of our most popular songs in a wildly innovative format but it will also introduce our music to a new, younger group of listeners."

With the introduction of the TURBO TOOTHTUNES toothbrush, kids will enjoy a two minute musical tooth brushing experience delivered in a new and improved way. All toothbrushes in the TURBO TOOTHTUNES collection feature new and improved sound technology that encourages two minutes of brushing - the amount of time generally recommended by dentists. Only TOOTHTUNES toothbrushes feature patented Denta-Mandibular Sound Transmission technology which transmits songs and music vibrations from the bristles, through the teeth, to the inner ear. Users hear two minutes of the hottest music from some of today's biggest stars which keeps them brushing.

The TURBO TOOTHTUNES collection includes an outstanding library of content including new titles from High School Musical 2, Miley Cyrus as "Hannah Montana," The Jonas Brothers and Aly & AJ. Also available in the collection: TOOTHTUNES best sellers "Let's Get It Started" by Black Eyed Peas and "We Will Rock You" by Queen.

Would you like to experience a two minute musical tooth brushing experience of your own? I now have some of these Devo toothbrushes to give away.

If I had teeth to clean, I would clean them.

Alas, mine were punched out whilst hotly debating the merits of Vivian Deacon.

curfew is 10 pm

My wife bought my kids the Kiss and Star Wars versions. Nothing is worse than assuming you have to read the directions to figure out how to use these things. Nonetheless, My wife, myself and my kids turned these babies on and tried to figure out for roughly 10 minutes why the tunes weren't playing. The reason is that the show don't start until you start brushing your teeth. Nothing is better than the note on the instructions to turn off the water to get the best sound. They could easily turn that into, "don't waste water while listening to "Love Gun".

you should buy your kids the DEVO version or they might grow up to be heroin addicts

There will also be beautiful mutants everywhere. Note the way they comb their hair.

Yep there is a 10 pm curfew! Devo played about an hour, no encore. So glad I didn't pay.

Posted by Anonymous | June 26, 2008 11:16 PM

yep devo only played for an hour. glad i got to sit around twiddling my thumbs during tom tom club though! thanks tom tom club!

Posted by Anonymous | June 26, 2008 11:27 PM

It was only an hour, but it was a quality hour.

Yo this was good, but what I really can't way for is Teddy Geiger at Bowery Ballroom on July 17th! It's going to be off the hook, the new sound system is installed, it will make your heads explode!

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2008 12:16 AM

DEVO: One hour of complete and total energy. The way it should be.

And yes, they did do an encore. They left the stage and returned so that is an encore.

They didn't come back for a second time while the crowd was chanting for more because the venue had a ten pm curfew and it was ten pm.

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2008 10:51 AM

Who could complain that this was only an hour? In that hour they did everything you could possibly want to hear them do. Other bands should take this cue.

I'd rather have one hour of full and total meat, then two hours of filler.

I bought a CAT POWER dildo.

Posted by Anonymous | June 28, 2008 4:05 PM

Vegetarians don't want a full hour of meat.

Posted by upstate vegan | June 28, 2008 4:51 PM

I'll give you some "meat."
