im really confused...and i bit my tongue the third or 4th time bv posted that hot chip tickets were on sale...but it's getting a bit ridiculous...
bv - seriously...do you get any cash for pushing certain shows...i mean i wouldnt think itd be necessary to continually post links to ticketmaster for a show that is 5 months away and will sell out on it's own...
im not asking to be an ass...but there are a lot of hot chip sale links re these tickets.
i also think it raises a great question, for the purposes of a quote, unquote, indy blog. how independent are you if you're getting paid to promote shows?
or, perhaps it's a moot point, if you're posting advertising banners, etc for tickets, records, labels, etc...
with all respect - i love the site, and im not trying to be a dck, but it's a fair question.

"im really confused...and i bit my tongue the third or 4th time bv posted that hot chip tickets were on sale...but it's getting a bit ridiculous..."
There's nothing to be confused about. Hot Chip is one of my favorite bands. Vice just released this video. Rather than just post the video, I linked back to tickets for their upcoming show for those who may have missed it. You'll notice the title of the post is "Hot Chip's 'Practice Space' (video)"
"seriously...do you get any cash for pushing certain shows"
no, but thanks for asking and for being paranoid.
