this is really cool news and it should be an awesome day. i've never been before, so should i expect a billion people making it impossible to see anything?

I'm mos def excited about the lineup. Will I need to get there at noon to get in?

site lines are good sound is a bit echoey and weird
and you can come at any time there isn't really any "getting in" it's like a long block/boardwalk party. and it's pretty easy to make your way to the front if you don't mind being snooted at until the show starts and then end up singing and smiling with same snoots

Does anyone know what form of BSS will actually be performing at this?

every year i get excited about siren fest. i go. i spend too much money on bottled water and average yet overpriced hot dogs. can't get within a mile of the stage without shoving around just to end up in someone's b.o.-reeking armpit. sunburn. garbage. loud but very echo-drenched sound. by the time the whole thing's over, i'm over siren fest. man, i'll take mccarren pool any time. (admittedly, pale hipster girls in bikinis do help to alleviate some of the torture.)

I gonna make the love to my hip prettys at the Siren fest, the siren will be coming from their loins, oh yes!

1 dollar bottled waters on neptune ave(or whatever that main street is called), sounds cheap to me

I'm assuming the form of BSS that will be performing here will be the one that recently played Bonnaroo....
But I hope Feisty or Emily Haines makes an appearance....

2008 will be the year of Ra Ra Riot...

though they never seemed to have had to pay their dues time/toil-wise...they definitely deserve it given what they've been thru...god bless

Sweet mercy please give BSS a decent chunk of time....
