Hey what a neat idea. Please keep informing people on here about what shows are actually going on when it says "closed for private event" on Mercury, Bowery etc's website. That way everyone can know what it is and cannot get into it.

A couple years ago, I snuck into a "private show" featuring The Strokes and Kanye West. A few months before, a friend of mine snuck into a private Broken Social Scene show. If you're slick enough to pull it off, you wanna know.

well, at least you didn't have to pay good money to see that douchenozzle kanye "perform"

or you could just pay the ten dollar convenience charge on live nation. tell us.

this article is a pile of shit

Where did she get that kind of money?!

Posted by Anonymous | June 25, 2008 1:27 PM

mccarren park pool is probably the worst possible outdoor space in the city for regina.

i saw regina on the mall in dc at the israel concert and she was great. i had never even heard any of her songs before and she had the huge crowd of like tens of thousands who probably half of whom had never heard her captivated and quiet.

modern girls is a truly awful song. i don't know what it is but the strokes,or more specifically, Julian, can not seem to figure out how to successfully collaborate with other artists.
