surprising not as many tough decisions as i would've thought - pretty well planned out
Posted by Anonymous | June 17, 2008 6:53 PM
IMHO - Explosions vs Brand New is the only brutal conflict. At least BN are doing an afterparty.

Wow, people who read this blog like Brand New? No wonder such a high % of comments read like they were written by 14-year-olds!

"No wonder such a high % of comments read like they were written by 14-year-olds!"
You sir, are clearly referring to yourself. Brand New are an excellent band. Their last album is easily one of the best albums of the last 5 years. Get off of Dan Deacon's dick and get a clue.

I'm looking forward to the inevitable 5 am Kayne show
Posted by Anonymous | June 17, 2008 7:50 PM
Seriously, I thought all Brand New fans were 14!

Am I the only one who thinks this lineup eats ass?
Posted by Rodney | June 17, 2008 9:27 PM
You are the only one who lines up to eat ass.
Posted by Anonymous | June 17, 2008 9:44 PM
what happened to santogold? i thought she was on the bill. i'm not to crazy about the scheduling - bss vs. battles is a tough choice and going from girl talk to the national just isn't gonna work.
Posted by thomas edison | June 17, 2008 9:46 PM
It's sad that one of the only bands I care about on this bill is Toadies.
Posted by Anonymous | June 17, 2008 10:10 PM
Battles vs. Lupe would be this Anonymous's only major conflict.
Posted by Anonymous | June 17, 2008 10:19 PM
grizzly bear, then CSS, then Radiohead

Posted by Anonymous | June 17, 2008 11:26 PM

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 12:47 AM
You want to eat my mom's ass?
Hmm. OK, I guess.
Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 12:56 AM
"Explosions vs Brand New is the only brutal conflict"
no comment
"Wilco v. Rage!"
Wilco
"Postelles v. Ting Tings!"
um, yeah ok.
"Battles vs. Lupe"
some of both.
"Black Keys or Gogol Bordello?"
It depends on how many times you've already seen either of them. If you've never seen Gogol Bordello, then pick them.

Girl Talk vs. Gnarls Barkley
Kanye West vs. NIN

im sorry to be the one to have to say this but...
"what time does daft punk go on?"
shit, shouldnt have said that
Posted by sammy | June 18, 2008 1:10 AM
Wasn't TV on the Radio originally in the lineup?
Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 7:32 AM
brand new is a very legitimate band who lost their credibility because of the way their fan base developed. if "the devil and god..." had been their first album instead of their third, things would have been very different. it's an extremely dark, challenging record.
Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 9:23 AM
Black Lips/Keys/Kids peeing!
Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 9:29 AM

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 10:04 AM
i agree this lineup isnt as good as it first seemed
oh yeah, and brand new > dan deacon. stupid hipsters
Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 10:06 AM
i would humbly like to start a movement of everyone not going to kanye. Yes all 60,000 of you leave early.
Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 10:56 AM
how about this ?
Brand New & Dan Deacon both suck in their own ways...
..lets just move on now , shall we ?
Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 11:29 AM
is Spoon missing from that schedule or what?!
Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2008 11:50 AM

OMG Finally CSS is Comming! can't wait for the day of my life!
Radiohead and CSS!

I hope Trent Reznor leads us in a riot that involves killing Kanye and trampling his fans.
