After a show in Pittsburgh one night, the singer dude found out I'd written a piece on them in the weekly rag and found me. We hung out and drankAll he did was talk about how he got them their deal by sitting on the laps of the old closeted men that ran Capitol. I still dig '...Come Down' but they kinda sucked since.

they did have some nice druggy songs back in the day.

To save everyone some time: I'm already up to the 5th song streaming from the new record on the Warhols' website as we speak -- Song one is unintelligible, the next sounds like a bad Electric Six b-side, the third song is a particularly awful take on 'Miss You' by the Stones via Duran Duran and tracks 4 and 5 actually almost sound like the DWs of old... almost.
And now, I must stop.

That's an interesting story, Greg. What was the title of the piece that you wrote and what publication was it in?

zia has nice boobies... but i met her once. and she sucked.

How can DWs and BJM play the same venue? Isn't that just stirring their respective pots?

With THE CHARLATANS? Now tell me the Dandy's are opening that show. If not, something has gone terribly wrong in the world.
I've seen the Dandy's 20 times over the last 14 years and ten of those were fantastic (probably because of the drugs), five were great (write it off to luck), four were average at best and the last one was beyond terrible. That last one was the most recent.

I am beyond pissed! signed up and payed $30 somewhat dollars for their "subscribers" club to get the tickets going on sale today and absolutely nothing has come to fruition. What a fucking let down! By the time I do finally get tickets, the show will probably be sold out.
Pissed in NYC
