It is Friday the 13th and that horror show of a Chicago Jury let that piece of shit dirtbag R. Kelly off the hook. Apparently any old person just talking on the internet about sex to an underage girl can be found guilty but when you are a celebrity you can rape and piss on one and get away with it. I honestly wish nothing but pain and suffering on every member of that jury. I hope if they have daughters the same thing happens to their child. Just absolutely ridiculous. Every person who saw that tape when it was on the internet years ago could tell you without a doubt it was him.
I am not religious but what God takes a good decent brilliant man like Tim Russert on the same day he lets this scumbag walk free?

i dont get the deal with teenage jesus & the jerks. i mean i guess her yelling at the audience was funny but musically, this is what people were flipping out about?
Posted by jason | June 14, 2008 8:32 AM
by all accounts, mbv at the ica was amazing, astounding, brilliant, flabbergasting, beautiful and deafening.
i fucking wish i was there.
Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2008 9:47 AM
Jason, it's history. Believe me, these same people would have ignored teenage Lydia in 1976, had they been alive and old enough to go to shows.
Without Lydia, there would be no Courtney Love, no Babes in Toyland, the riot grrl mvmt would have been significantly different...

sorry to anybody who came all the way out to sunset for the show. the cops sure know how to ruin a good time.
