i second the Black & White Years - the other bands on the Pianos bill (Aldenbarton, Giraffes Giraffes, Ribbons) are really aces as well.

Don't forget Marc Ribot's Ceramic Dog will be opening for MMW tonight at Prospect Park. There is also a really good chance that Ribot will sit in with MMW on guitar. It should be a pretty sweet show.

Can somebody explain to me the hype surrounding Lil Wayne? Is he actually any good? Will he get off on those gun charges?

Posted by Anonymous | June 19, 2008 2:59 PM

REM at MSG trumps all else.

Posted by Anonymous | June 19, 2008 3:19 PM

the national goes on at 7, or so it says on the tickets. i'd get there at 6:30 though, because MSG has a curphew.

Posted by Anonymous | June 19, 2008 3:20 PM
