So many attractive price options to choose from. I just can't decide.

Woke up this morning-can't believe what I saw...
Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2008 12:43 PM
i got a pair in the last row of the 300s section for only 400 bucks!
these guys get gang raped at the end of the show right?

it's a charity show, you forgot to mention, hence the prices being so high. it's not because the police are assholes or something, it's for the benefit of public television and particularly NYC public television since it's for Thirteen and WLIW21. so yeah obviously we can't all afford it, but don't knock it because you can't.

I still think that's a lot of money to pay to see the B-52's.

Most people will be "Driven to Tears" by these prices!

These are sadly on par with Madonna's tour prices, which are NOT charity shows. (And sold out 4 nights at MSG! And I'm going!)

now this is just absolutely squid brains.

I realize this is for charity, but $379.50 for the 100 section? I don't think so. Maybe they could've made a better statement by playing a free show in the park (to thank the fans for a lucrative tour) & donating $ to charity.

does anyone play the great lawn anymore?

that's a terrible idea. And I think you knew that when you typed it.

Madonna needs to charge that much cuz soon she's gonna be payin alimony.
Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2008 3:14 PM
Just think - half of all the Madonna ticket prices will be going to fund Guy Ritchie's next mediocre crime film.
Posted by Robert | June 27, 2008 3:23 PM
ill pay $400 to see kanye.
besides, this is going to be police's last show... before their inevitable reunion next summer to make even more money.
