Anybody attend his 2006 show? The energy he brought to the stage was . . . total shit. Without puppets, a Beck show is about as enjoyable as listening to the album at home; except that at home you can at least pretend that he's into the music his producers are creating.

beck himself is a fraggle. so puppets would add to this show.

been to every beck tour over the years since lollapalooza 95.. this will probably be the first nyc show of his that i skip (assuming he announces one). his stage presence has been waning ever since the midnite vultures tour and modern guilt is such a load of crap.

No need to worry about the presale / no NYC, according to the presale email from Beck:

"Please hold on to this email for potential additional markets. There is no guarantee that additional markets will be added."

So hold on to your presale email and the code will hopefully be good again once NYC is announced.

Isn't it strange that it says that the city/town is Washington Bridge, NY. Hope it is the same United Palace in Washington Heights! Could be quite a week of music w/ Nick Cave on Saturday and Beck on Thursday.

The show will be in Washington Heights. I think the main problem is getting tickets.
