Whenever I see Bjork now I can't get the images of her at the end of "Dancer in the Dark," or the swan costume, out of my mind...

"Dancer in the Dark" was such a sad movie.

"""Whenever I see Bjork now I can't get the images of her at the end of "Dancer in the Dark," or the swan costume, out of my mind..."""
I never understood what the big deal about the swan dress was. She looked fine in it, and not only did the mainstream media never shut up about it, they haven't forgotten. It's what my mom remembers about Bjork, so congratulations on being like my mom. Do you enjoy Barbara Streisand, Barry Manilow and The Today Show too?

that was beautiful.
Posted by Anonymous | July 2, 2008 12:11 AM
I "enjoy" yer mom.

dancer in the dark = saddest movie i've ever seen
swan dress = a lot better than half of the bullshit people wear on the red carpet anyway
sigur rós + björk = orgasm much?
i love how she just hits stuff

Also, the swan dress was a joke. Literally. She did it to poke fun at the red carpet fashion show.

Dancer in the Dark is so unrelentingly sad.
Does anyone hate America more than Lars Von Trier?

I wonder what time of the day it was in iceland when this was shot?
Set times anyone? and no fucking Daft Punk set times jokes please. Williamsburg grow up!

"she doens't even sing, calm down folks"
Try the 2nd video down. I'm not sure, but I think that's her at the beginning going "La La La La La La"

whenever I see bjork I can't help but ask, "what time did daft punk come on?"
Posted by Anonymous | July 2, 2008 9:27 AM

So god damn annoying!! I wish Iceland was part of the "Axis of Evil" so we could bomb the shit out that country and do everyone’s ears a favor.
Posted by Anonymous | July 2, 2008 1:08 PM
It would have been better had all those stupid Icelandic fratboy banker douchebags showed up and ruined it for everyone.
Posted by Anonymous | July 2, 2008 1:09 PM
Amazing show - in comparison, Daft Punk Keyspan sucked balls. You douchebags really missed out.

sigur ros played at 7 pm Iceland time and bjork played around 9:30. There is no darkness!

"I wonder what time of the day it was in iceland when this was shot"
I shot the image at exactly 20:22:19 local time (GMT) This time of the summer it doesn't get any darker than this in Iceland :)
