still havent heard crystal castles. how would you describe them?

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 11:59 AM

bad nintendo music meets bad punk.

i'm sure they'd take this as a compliment.

That tour listing is missing a date..10/31 williamsburg - opening up for WILL BERMAN

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:03 PM

really good. half the time it's like video game music sometimes with really distorted female vocals over it. the other half is deconstructing samples and working them into sick dance songs. idc if they stole a drum line or whatever it was. you can't deny that their album is ridiculously good. well you could, but you'd be wrong.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:04 PM

crystal castles is a bunch of drum machine bullshit, WILL BERMAN would not approve

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:05 PM

haters to the left, crystal castles is so good.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:06 PM

I liked CC but they fucked up my youtube account (over a 1 minute clip yet). So now, they can go fuck themselves.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:06 PM

oh and nice choice of sample track for Crystal Castles BV, i love that song.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:07 PM

i think the old arcade crystal castles is better than the band. but me likes alice glass's body.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:07 PM

they have a session drummer for live shows now willbermanasshole, get out of here.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:08 PM

no session drummer can compete with the skin pounding of WILL BERMAN

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:10 PM

im a graphic designer

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 12:49 PM

wtf - was terminal5 created so people forget how fcking god aweful webster hall is? yelle and crystal castles there? weak.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 1:43 PM

Terminal 5 was created so that Bowery Presents could have a venue to compete with Live Nation's Hammerstein and Roseland.

Absolutely zilch attention was invested into whether it was a comfortable, appropriate room for live shows to sound good.

It sucks!

the Will Berman joke is the crappiest recurring joke yet.

come up with something better if you're going to put so much effort into posting it in every thread.

crystal castles is a very talented band. listen to courtship dating and alice practice (and every other song on the CC album) and you'll understand. yes, i've read everything on the hot chip/cc thing (buddy, the song was never released on the commercial album). yes, i've read the shit about the album cover (didn't even make it to the commercial stores). chances are you've used something that wasn't yours for your own success (don't lie to yourself). go hate on timberland (someone who is a repeat offender- see youtube for more info) if you want a target.

CC also stole my blueprints.

Posted by Jor-El | July 30, 2008 2:43 PM

those Canadians sure do still get boners for electroclash

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 2:48 PM

people are still jocking CC's respective genitalia?

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 3:43 PM

HARD in LA isn't the name of a venue it's the name of the ongoing festival series. On 10/31 it's HARD Haunted Mansion at the Shrine Expo Hall again and the lineup's unbelievable.
Soulwax, SMD, Deadmau5, Boys Noize, Crystal Castles

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2008 8:33 PM

LA losers still got electroclash boners too, looks like
