by Black Bubblegum

In what can only described as a tad perplexing, October dates have started showing up that have Dillinger Escape Plan opening for Suicide Silence (huh what?). That includes one show at Irving Plaza on October 10th. Tickets are already on sale. The whole tour also seems to include Beneath The Massacre & Emmure. (Mostly) gross. (thx Anon). All known dates below...

October 7th Louisville, KY Headliners Music Hall
October 10th New York City, NY - The Filmore At Irving Plaza
October 15th Clifton Park, NY - Northern Lights

I believe it's co-headlining.

"CO HEADLINING" is impossible. What, they're going to play at the same time? Whoever plays last headlines. That's the reality

This lineup is superobnoxious, but DEP are amazing live and I'm going to put myself on front street and admit I'm going to try and pick up some scene chicks at this shit. Underage scene chicks.
In the butt.

umm.... heading essentially just means that they play the same length set. If they are both allotted an hour and a half, they are co-headlining. Just a bit short sighted, are we?

all of these bands are what i call myspace-core bands and shouldn't even be in the same city at the same time as DEP let alone on the same bill!!!

Having a heavy metal fanbase is better for a long term career. They tend to be less fickle, go to lots of shows and buy lots of merchandise. This tour makes sense. They need to be on more of these types of tours.

it'S not like they were playing with the shins and tv on the radio before. they were just playing with better metal bands. but i guess its good for them to do a tour where they'll outclass the hell out of every other band.

suicide silence is one of my two favorite bands (them and KATAKLYSM). they are great live and on cd. they are unique sounding as far as deathcore goes...
and i saw dillinger with cavalera conspiracy, and they absolutely SUCKED. boring. very boring.
tours anymore are completely mixed... deathcore/thrash, death/deathcore, black/death/folk, its like theyre not even looking at whos on the bill anymore...
