This band stinks out loud.

Hmm...this reminds me a bit of a band I've been listening to a lot recently called Noah and the Whale. They're kinda indie folkish, you can hear them on their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/noahandthewhale

amazing live.
best, tightest harmonies i've seen in ages.
great songs, too.
seen 'em 3x and they do not disappoint, and don't really dress like greasy hobos when they play live.

everyone who pretended to like me is gone.

They're playing the Treasure Island Fest on 9/21, DJ Max. Don't know why it's not on this list.

They probably don't know or care about steam punk. Sometimes people dress up for their photos! It's train themed dude. they're not gonna try and turn their imac into a relic.

incredible fucking live band. great record, too. it's a grower, not a shower. just like its old man.

Posted by Anonymous | July 6, 2008 12:25 PM

Or 1:22's friend's cousin.

Posted by Anonymous | July 6, 2008 12:26 PM

steely dan built a reputation on meticulously recorded music. dr. dog, while a great great band, tends to record songs that sound like they're gonna fall apart at any second.
