"I know, it's so tacky!" (Exena)
Ian Curtis

Somewhere in Cheshire is a seriously melancholy thief. The gravestone of Ian Curtis has been stolen from the Macclesfield cemetery where the former Joy Division singer is buried. [Guardian]

"Hopefully, he's sitting in his flat somewhere, staring at the engraved stone, feeling an abject gloom over what he's done."
Hopefully karma will reward him, by hitting him with a bus.

Author didn't do research. Ian isn't buried there. He was cremated. The headstone that was stolen was simply a marker on a curb where people could go to pay respects.
