DOWNLOAD: Jean Nipon - Freedom Fries Mix (zSHARE MP3)

Jean Nipon

Apparently Sebastien's Wednesday show is going to be so epic we'll need an entire day before we're ready for the after-party Sexuality pre-release party. Someone made the connection that having the after-party the day after the show (which is what I originally saw on this flyer) didn't seem quite right. The Thursday (July 31st) pre-release party features Sebastien deejaying along with Marc from Record Makers from 10-1. From 1 on Institubes Paris Terror Club which includes Bobmo (one of the handful of recently emerging, super young, talented French deejays), as well as fellow Frenchman Jean Nipon (be sure to download his "Freedom Fries" mix at the top of this post) plus New York's own Heavy Bass Champion, Drop the Lime take over. The show is the first stop on Institubes' US and Canada tour. The rest of the dates can be found below after the rest of Thursday's events. Advanced tickets available here....

Also on Thursday (July 31), two great party-throwers, People Don't Dance No More and Mean Red plus Speak Recordings, join forces to bring you Play It Loud! at one of the best places to do so, Love:

Expect a night of energetic disco-without-borders from:

Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area)
Doug Gomez (Drrtyhaze / Tirk / Truffle / Gomma)
Son of Sound (Speak Recordings)
Robot Blair + David Bruno (People Don't Dance No More)

Check out Son of Sound's March 18, 2008 set on Beats in Space.

People Dont dance

Free with RSVP to info@playitloudnyc.com, $10 without.

One final option for Thursday before the weekend officially hits - Vin of the Midnight Juggernauts (who recently discussed deejaying, among other things here) is deejaying at Hiro. There is also a live performance by Metronomy who you can learn more about in 'the Week In Indie'. Full info below:

Metronomy Juggernauts

Free w/ RSVP.

Hopefully that will keep your feet busy and get you ready for this weekend. It's another busy one. I'm not going to get into all the details now, but one very exciting event happening Saturday is Ewan Pearson deejaying at Love!
