Posted by Anonymouse | July 24, 2008 3:31 PM

they're really amazing live. totally high energy, it's so crazy that there's only three of them because their live sound is so big.

my mind just exploded with the shear awesomeness that was akron/family and ten other people (a bunch from beirut) rocking the fuck out for more than 2 hours at castle clinton tonight. holy shit, best free show of the summer by farrrr.

huh???
I saw no point in this band. what is it?
noise folk?
what does it mean opening a dirge like song with 10 minutes of feedback? what is that?
you can see i am all questions here.

"what does it mean opening a dirge like song with 10 minutes of feedback?" -- Huh? That's like asking "what does it mean to have a painting of a meadow done in purple and yellow?"

I.e., It's fucking art, it just is. Whether it's good or bad is entirely a different matter. There are no rules. Would you have been more satisfied with 5 minutes of feedback instead? jesus.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2008 11:03 PM

oh i see it's ART
how artistic

Posted by gregory | July 24, 2008 11:07 PM

it was really good dude. you just had to vibe on it. the first half was so chill and precise then the second was just crazy as fuck amazing holy shit i don't even need drugs this is so goddamn good.
