oh me oh my, that's one hell of a band. nobody, but nobody, plays drums like joey baron. from the sick punk/rock/noise/surf/jazz he did with naked city to all of zorn's other projects like masada, unreal. and eyvind kang, whether with sun city girls or all by himself is such a badass. and greg cohen, wow... apparently a night not to be missed.

Anyone know where Lou and Laurie are registered? I’d like to send them a place setting.

I saw this at Carnegie Hall recently. Damn good. Filled with plenty of Anderson's dry comments and some of the best, restrained electronics I've heard in a long while.

I was there for the final rehearsal at the Rose Theater and it looks like an incredible show. I was shooting there this afternoon and will have pictures available later tonight. Stay tuned.

Shouldn't that title read: "Laurie (now married to Lou Reed) Anderson, kicks off"...
Neither of these two artists are ever mentioned without the drop of that factoid these days.

The show tonight at the Rose Theater had some moments that were exquisite to hear.
Overall the show was dull and lacking in her usual brilliance and far too long, her words also muffled by muddy midrange in the p.a. system, so subtleties were lost.
Any wireheads know which keyboards/software she was using?
