Also, Food is ok from what I remember, but you're not "allowed" to bring booze in. If they're checking at the door that is, which they sometimes are. From what I remember from years past, rum and coke in a Coke bottle worked, or a 1/2 pint of whiskey down your pants was good to go too.

Wet Hot American Summer is unique and hilarious and I feel sorry for you if you don't get it. Part of the problem for some may be that it takes place at a Jewey upstate/PA summer camp for NY-metro kids, and not everyone can relate to that world.

It's a privilege to have Showalter open up the festivities. Detractors are wasting their time. I feel sorry for them... they probably missed out on The State (MTV) and Stella (live) and have not reached their full potential as human beings because of it.
