Radiohead are not playing Miller Theater

Despite what the ticket page says, the show is just Christopher O'Riley playing Radiohead. He's doing Nick Drake and Elliott Smith too.
Radiohead is playing All Points West in Jersey City though, twice. Saturday regular tickets are sold out, but there are still tix for Friday, Saturday VIP tickets, and three day passes.

they could help conserve oil and gasoline if they'd just allow this guy to play their new album for them.

i would shit myself if that were real

Truth is they are playing a secret after show at Bowery Ballroom Saturday night after their APW show. Sadly though no tickets are being sold for it. It is for invited guests only(industry, record company, friends etc) You can see Bowery has nothing listed for that night.

that is pretty funny. it will take their crew hours to take down and load their gear. nice try though.

They are playing at the Water Taxi beach in Long Island City at 2am after their show on Saturday. They are taking the ferry right over from Liberty...tickets will only be sold through WASTE to members of fan club.

anon 4:06 is full of shit!
They are doing a special gig at Santos Party House and thats the end of the story.

i'm doing a special gig at santos tonight. the line is already two blocks long. your rsvp probably won't let you in.

does that mean Shostakovich isn't really playing miller theater either?
Posted by anon | July 15, 2008 4:34 PM
4:10-Don't believe me. I do not care but they are playing at Bowery that night. I have no idea what time it is but it will not take their crew hours to break down and load their gear. You have apparently only seen a concert and never worked on one. Nice try though.

None of you are getting into the "secret" afterparty show anyway, so let's skip all the conjecture, shall we?
Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2008 4:42 PM
there sure seem to be a lot of "secret" shows that everyone knows about.
Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2008 4:45 PM
i will be playing radiohead on my shower system and singing along in falsetto while lathering up my sudsy chest.
sorry, show is for pretty young ladies only. interested women looking a lot like those vivian girls should respond with their telephone numbers to get presale info.

radiohead just issued a statement on their site saying you will probably not get into Santos Party House unless you dress like an 80's coked up disco fuck
Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2008 4:50 PM
santos party house? Yawn
Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2008 4:51 PM
who cares!
Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2008 4:55 PM
Radiohead at Santos would be insane! This needs to happen. Anyone know how to verify this?

call up the club and ask them
Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2008 5:11 PM
you cant just call santos party house. you have to stand in line for 2 hours and then ask the door man before they turn you away due to "capacity" even though 20 coked up disco fucks just walked out after spending no money due to the bottle service that was provided for them by an old uncle that likes to rub up against young dumb hipster chicks that would blow you for a 20 bag of blow.

Radiohead are playing an after party in my balls. You idiot, loser, Vampire Weekend fans. Take THAT.

I seem to recall the same O'Riley/Radiohead miscue happening a few years back. Same error...

@4:58:
I've already verified this a number of times. All you have to do is go stand in line. You have my word - if it turns out this isn't happening you can come back here and call me out on it: my name is Anonymous, I post here all the time - you can't miss me!
Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2008 6:07 PM
"my name is Anonymous, I post here all the time - you can't miss me!"
Bullshit! You're not the real Anonymous!

I'm Thom Yorke's mother, and I'd like to let you all know that Radiohead will be playing a free show in the McDonald's on 42nd Street after the Saturday show.
