Such good news. Two of my favorite albums from '08. Can't wait.

"Carissa's Wierd get back together!"

Agreed.

yes. she's boring alone and so is he. however, that group was MAGIC together.

I agree that Carrisa's Weird was terrific, however, I don't feel that Cahoone or Brooke are boring alone, far from it. Just my opinion, but saying.

Sera Cahoone at Union Hall was great(especially the encore with Grand Archives). Her guitar/banjo player was amazing.

Formed by songwriter Mat Brooke shortly after he parted ways with Band of Horses, Grand Archives enjoyed a massive profile from its opening show. After playing a mere five songs at its debut show, Grand Archives inked a deal with Sub Pop Records, secured a spot opening for Modest Mouse.

Grand Archives' debut, The Grand Archives arrived in stores early in 2008, showcasing a band wrapped up in loose folk, pop and indie influences.

In 2006, Cahoone decided to step out from the cymbals and snare and focus on singing, songwriting, and guitar playing, skills she’d been honing for nearly 15 years on her own. The fruit of her newfound dedication was Sera Cahoone (2006), her self-released first album of thoughtful country songs that was lauded by indie-rock tastemaker KEXP-FM in Seattle along with NPR. And The Stranger called Sera’s debut ”...a breathtaking collection of sad and dusky songs that reveal an artist of remarkable depth as well as a truly stunning voice.”

Whoa, these spambots are quite sophisticated.

Wow. agreed with 9:24. I respect the spambots. Despise the fuck out of them, but respect the sophistications.
