I guess the seated thing for Spiritualized isn't assigned seats but GA..
Posted by anon | July 11, 2008 11:52 AM
Yeah, that was odd.. the SPZ website even said it was limited seating 450 people.
I guess Jason is just trying to keep the crowd at a manageable level? Or we just claim a seat when we enter the venue?
Got my tix, regardless.

I received my Carcass tickets from the pre-sale in the mail yesterday. Hilarious. The formal band name on the tickets is "Carcass - Reunited!"
So psyched for the show. I hope one or more of the "three special guests" are named Napalm Death or Morbid Angel.

Not sure if BV has previously mentioned this: former Go-Between Robert Forster is at Joe's Pub in September for two shows.

RE: Carcass openers, Sonar in Baltimore is listing 1349 as an opener. So if you extrapolate that, this could be your openers...
1349
Aborted
Rotten Sound
Necrophagist
Suffocation

"Christ, Eddie Vedder sold 6,000+ tix in under 2 minutes (2xUPT Capacity)"
What exactly are you shocked about? There are a lot of stupid people in the world and in this city. Go up to United Palace the day of the show and after you buy a ticket outside for less than face, have a good laugh at their expense

Regarding Spiritualized... Does anybody read? It clearly states on the Ticketmaster page...
"Limited Seating available on a first come, first serve basis."

so spirtualized an intimate acosutic show or not?
Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2008 3:49 PM
not accoustic, but rather the standard electric show, setlist TBD, will probably vary over the course of the tour.
Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2008 6:09 PM
On the Music Hall of Williamsburg website it says:
"seated show"
So yes, I can read.
