Great pictures! Great times at Siren as usual, despite the insane heat. I was trying to figure out why the stage by the Cyclone is the main stage, and the only thing we could come up with is because it's next to the Cyclone, so it makes it better for photos. The sound is inferior and there is less room for the audience at the main stage though.

really nice photos. the islands were fun, rarariot too. the islands guitarist was ridiculous. so great. like his facial expressions and stuff, he was just too cool for school.

some of those photos are true artistry. its like that famous saying, when you take a photo dont try to capture EVERYTHING, capture ONE THING, and boa captures that ONE THING, over and over. excellent.

Islands were SO much better than the last time I saw them. No comparison. Great set.
I wish I could have seen more of Jaguar Love...I wanted to see if they were going anywhere with that set. Alas, Ra Ra Riot (and lovely Alex) called.

Ra Ra Riot was excellent, as was Beach House although not really appropriate for a rock festival setting. Allie apparently thought a bra was a shirt, but hey, it was insanely hot out so perhaps that was her logic.

The Dodos and Islands ripped it on Saturday. To all those assholes who keep saying they were glad they didn't go. shut the hell up. It was a decent festival of music considering it was fucking free. so just shut the fuck up and stay inside listening to your great music in your apartments instead of leaving your homes.
