The Coast

Toronto's The Coast will release their full-length album Expatriate in August. The album contains the track "Tightrope" which was also remixed by their hometown friends Tokyo Police Club for a 7" that came out on June 12th. Grab that remix above. i have seen them and they are def. pretty good. it's interesting to see an unknownish band going for the big arena sound in small clubs.

First of all if you think Tokyo Police Club sounds anything even remotely similar to U2 or coldplay maybe you shouldn't experiment with new music. Especially if all you have to compare to this kick ass, up and coming underground punk band is your pop mainstream radio hitz. Get your own opinion and stop letting your friends tell you what they think sounds good.
