These guys were downers. Some of the songs sounded great (definitely solid songwriting chops from the Dylan school of songwritng), but The Duke kinda brought the mood down when he told the crowd that he was sick and that Fleet Foxes was also sick. First of all, speak for yourself, dude; don't place pre-conceived notions in the audience's mind about the headliner's upcoming set. I think he let it affect his performance much more than the Foxes. Towards the end of their set, he said they'd play 2 more songs, but when he played that 2nd to last song, the audience got to talking, and so he just bailed without playing the last song. By then, no one really minded. The Foxes rocked.

their music was interesting at the philly show, but their complaining about the heat and the venue got pretty tiresome after awhile.

Complaining yes, but the audience seemed to like them pretty well. I got pretty worried when he said “the entire band is sick.” But Robin was amazing anyway.

First Fergie (the singer not Prince Andrew's ex) misspells 'duchess', now they do.
