I thought we established the other day nobody cares about Bruce Springsteen. It is all about Wolf Parade and Radiohead these days.
Posted by Anonymous | July 31, 2008 1:37 PM
I think we also established that no one cares when other people try to get off by bashing Bruce. It's not funny.

why is mercury having so many early late shows? Remember when it used to be 4 bands a night? Is this to make more $$$$$?

You live in New York and you love music.
Tonight at 10pm Pale_Nimbus plays Southpaw.
I manage the band and I want you at the show.
If you stay the entire set and if you still aren't a fan, I will refund you the cover. I'm easy to spot and the band will introduce me during the set.
This is a new Brooklyn band. They are my favorite in NYC and there isn't anyone like them in the world. I told you first.

wow was it fuckin sweet. played all of kissing the beehive, sons and daughters, you are a runner, ill believe, this hearts on fire, its a curse, shine a light, FANCY CLAPS. spencer lightly admonished the crowd in the cutest way possible, dan made a funny joke about russia being emo that hes made a lot of nights. the crowd was half bro-filled, but dance-y and had a good time. had a blast. what a great band and night.

I haven't been living under or rock or anything, but to me, that time has been, and always will be, now.
