Sunday is supposed to be the day of rest, but not this week.... as heavy music fans have THREE high profile shows to choose from! First up, the return of influential grinders Brutal Truth (with Dan Lilker of ex-Anthrax / SOD / Nuclear Assault fame) who are playing their first NYC show since their reunion and the release of new material on the This Comp Kills Fascists record, out now on Relapse. Tickets are still available.

Tonight's show (August 17) starts at 7 and the band will be joined by Chicago's Macabre, Devourment, Malignancy and The Communion. The Communion also played a show on Thursday with Gridlink, Hayaino Daisuki, and ASRA (maybe you caught The Melvins/Big Business that night instead). Gridlink, Hayaino Daisuki, and ASRA play Jersey City (469 Central Ave) tonight - one of six tour dates they had scheduled.

Feeling a little less grind and a little more doom? The mighty Weedeater is playing the Knitting Factory Tap Bar with Black Cobra. tickets are still available

Brutal Truth is currently Dan Lilker, Kevin Sharp, Rich Hoak, and Eric Burke (Nuclear Assault). All tour dates, tonight's flyer and a video below...
