One of the funnier schedules I've ever read... love the annotations.

4 nights at Union Hall! Those big venues are going to kill the vibe.

"4 nights at Union Hall! Those big venues are going to kill the vibe."

webster hall sucks. you can hear the boom boom bass from the guido b+t club downstairs during shows.

Good luck at Webster Hall, fellas. It is almost certain to mangle your precious harmonies.

Nice drawing.

Nice to know they're getting bigger and bigger, let's hope they'll survive the hype.

Their latest London gig was awesome

i'd like to go before it sells the fuck out.

Posted by Anonymous | August 14, 2008 12:49 PM

you can't go before it sells out. that's not possible. unless it's at msg.

webster hall is an aweful decision...Town Hall?!

Posted by Anonymous | August 14, 2008 2:02 PM

Wait a minute....people are still listening to this band AND buying tickets to their shows? WOW!

Posted by Anonymous | August 14, 2008 2:34 PM

They're just starting to make waves, 2:34. So, yes, people are listening to them and buying tickets. Unlike dipsters, most fans stick with an artist they like rather than writing them off as passe after 6 months of blog hype.
Now, please inform us - what artists are YOU listening to and buying tickets to see?

Believe the hype. I skeptically caught Fleet Foxes two weeks ago in Portland, Oregon at the Doug Fir Lounge (350 capacity).

They detail, the arrangements, the effing amazing harmonies... are all every bit as good, maybe better than on the record. You could almost have heard a pin drop in this sweaty, packed in like sardines show. Wow.

If you like Iron and Wine, Band of Horses, Grand Archives and the like - you will go ape shit when you see Fleet Foxes live. Mos def.
