FUTURE OF THE LEFT, Against Me!, Ted Leo, 2008 tour dates

Future Of The Left have announced a NYC show at Webster Hall on Oct 11th with headliner Against Me! and Ted Leo & The Pharmacists (who headlined Webster Hall on his own and who recently played Castle Clinton on his own too). Tickets go on sale Friday 8/8 at noon here. Tickets go on sale the day after that for the same lineup at Starland Ballroom one day earlier. The rest of the current Future Of The Left and the Against Me! tour schedule so far is down below. Nothing official, but look for FOTL to add a few more dates on this tour (here's hoping for a headline date in NYC soon too)
Future of the Left dropped the Manchasm 7" on the now defunct Too Pure in April. "Manchasm" can also be found on Curses which dropped in the tail end of 2007.
Ted Leo is also playing at MoMA on Tuesday August 12th.
Future Of The Left is also scheduled to play the Reading & Leeds festivals this month. A video and all tour dates below...

i called for a ted leo/against me! tour back in march. too bad webster hall and starland ballroom are horrific venues

ted leo is opening for against me! because against me! are a really tough live act to follow. ted leo would get swallowed. and that's not a slight on him, either.

I've seen both of them, and Ted would not be "swallowed" by Against Me! I'd actually say they're pretty evenly matched live. This should be a good bill. Against Me!'s actually gotten pretty big lately - they're on a major and have picked up a lot of new fans in the last year or two.

i must have missed something, because i find ted leo and the pharmacists to be on par with prison food. against me, i'll admit to never listening, but their name is bad enough to convince me that i don't need to. i will wait for future of the left to headline (and play venues that don't make me upset). they wouldn't come to the u.s. just to open three dates on this bill.

Yeah, you must have missed a lot. Especially if you think "Future of the Left" (which sounds pretentious, dull, and just plain stupid) is a worse name for a band than "Against Me" (which sounds juvenile and paranoid, yet sexy).
Also, Ted Teo is way cooler than you'll ever be.

oof, from terminal 5 to webster hall, maybe they shouldn't hit up new york five times a year. they seem to be one of the hardest touring bands around, but then again alcoholic steel workers that hit their families love to work to...
