Grizzly's set was powerful. They drew a strong crowd, members of other bands (Rogue Wave, Yeasayer, etc.) lining the sidestages for purposes of observation (and maybe awesomeness osmosis). The weather played along, a bright sun blaring down throughout, hitting hardest for the sun-drenched, Letterman-approved "Two Weeks" [download above] and the instant vintage "While You Wait For The Others." Along with other Yellow House faves, we got first listens at a new Dan song "Fine For Now," and an untitled new Droste tune. how was grizzly bear at lolla? each time ive seen them in a festival setting ive been disappointed...they're so much better in intimate settings...yes, no, maybe?

I saw them last night at Indy with Radiohead, it was probably the best show I've ever been to.
Grizzly Bear + Radiohead = WIN!
They were really well recieved and then Radiohead came along and were absolutely amazing, tight as ever.I read alot about their lightshow, but actually experiencing is something else, Climbling Up the Walls especially Whoa!I'm still buzzing.
Seriously go catch a show if you can.

10:17am, I caught about 3/4 of the grizzly show at lolla. They sounded amazing. One of the highlights of the weekend. Crispy super loud, nothing lost in the atmosphere. Granted they were playing at one of the smaller side stages so that helps.
