I've always been curious about their shows...is the music awful? Is it worth seeing?

I highly recommend seeing GWAR live! The music is mostly thrash ala Slayer and Anthrax, and the onstage antics are pretty goofy but fun. Prepare for stained clothes, the fake body fluids fly all over the place.

Is it actually heavy, face-melting metal stuff, or is it more campy, goofball bullshit?
