The 2006 shows with Pat LCD were great. He's kind of hard to top though.

that's a fairly silly thing to still be disappointed about. cheer up, it's hot chip! they're the greatest.

Growing is so much better than Hot Chip. It grinds my gears that there is such retarded mania surrounding the cliche, cheap, and wanky Hot Chip. What a pile of electrical shite.

NICE! A friend of mine recommended me a HOT place www MillionaireLover.com *** It's a place full of hot stuff and also a place where the rich & celebrity have romance!

Fuck, I love Go. Don't tell anybody, though. That's definitely some guilty pleasure shit.

I love the hot guy in Fat Chip. I mean the fat guy in Hot Chip. Mmmm, chips! Those are fries, right? You've gotta love a band named after a nice basket of french fries!

Go is an awsome movie and yeah, this guy totally looks like him. I've never made that connection before, so thanks. You gave me one hell of a laugh this AM at work! But Hot Chip is still sick!

I saw them a couple of years ago at the Seaport and that was actually a damn good show and they HAD a live drummer then! I loved their early work.

Now, i gotta say... they sorta suck. I don't know what happened to them but I can not even listen the newest record (in the dark crap). WTF did they do?

Maybe a drummer will get them back in shape.

BTW, Terminal 5? Come on! they suck.

Whos opening for them in LA???/???

Posted by matt forskin | September 10, 2008 12:48 PM

Two bands opened for them in LA, one on each night they played. A band called io echo opened for them in LA on the first night. I had never heard of them before, which isnt surprising considering they are a new band from what I understand, but 1. I hate most bands with a scathing vengeance and 2. they really impressed me. And actually *mark my words* I predict that with a year they will be huge, yep. you heard it here first. The second night a band called drums of death opened. Again I had never heard of them before but a co-worker of mine went and said the guy was good. for what its worth, apparently he is signed to Joe from Hot Chip's label. Hot Chip was good on the night I saw them. They had a drummer... do they always have a drummer? I didn't think they did.

hot chip are fucking awesome and anyone that doesn't think so but read this far down in the thread can suck my balls because you are an embittered dork that has nothing better to do. you are also probably a failure at whatever artistic endeavors you've attempted.

Awesome show! Growing were terrible though. Crowd was really enjoying the show and were energetic! Wish they played more older songs but was still wonderful!
