i'm sorry but i used to be a huge fan (around time of under cold blue stars and 1972 had some good moments and the first two records were great) but his last couple of releases have been pretty boring and the live show isn't that great anymore. i'm hoping he can turn it back around.

With increasing age and maturity, singer-songwriters' indie scene appeal usually diminishes. His more recent material is just as good as the earlier period if not better.

Saw him at the small auditorium at Carnegie Hall (Zankel?) a few months ago and it was not good - boring, actually. I still consider myself a fan but anon @5:08 is right on the money and I hope Josh gets it together.

i never said anything about indie scene appeal.

NICE! A friend of mine recommended me a HOT place www *** It's a place full of hot stuff and also a place where the rich & celebrity have romance!

agreed. his newer stuff pales in comparison.

but more importantly - am i the only person who sees a striking resemblance to K.D. Lang whenever i see a photo of him?

9:46, you are not the only one.

I agree with 5:08, I've been a fan of Josh's for a long time and enjoyed almost everything he did up through about half of Nashville. After that... not so much. He's just writing different (happier?) songs now. Oh well.

I'm assuming this is going to be a solo set? Or at least with a smaller backing group. He doesn't have a new album to promote (right?) so hopefully he'll bring in some older material.
