In recognition to his major achievements he was awarded with the doctorate from C.W Post University, Alma Mater in 2004. He was awarded by Jacoby International award of 2001 too that was delivered by Dashew International Center of UCLA. Gary winnick was also awarded with the humanitarian laureate award which was given by Simon Wealth Center.
