Panda Riot - 2008 Tour Dates (tonight in NYC)

Tonight (August 7) at Rehab (formerly Club Midway) is Chicago's Panda Riot whose name might lead you to believe they are punky but in actuality they are very lovely dreampop with swirly guitars, hushed vocals and laptop-provided beats. I don't know how they'll be live but their debut, She Dares All Things, is quite lovely. Seattle blog The Finest Kiss put up a track last week, which is where I learned of them. They also recorded a session for WOXY. All dates below...

I would really like to see a show featuring Panda Bear, Panda Riot, and Ra Ra Riot. And hell, why not throw in Minus the Bear for good measure?
