i think there is more interest in rival schools reunion than when they were around.

It's rather rude to mock a dead person for no apparent reason. Especially by using an image in which people who cared about him are grieving. Pretty fucked, actually.

45 minutes after tickets went on sale for Rival Schools they were still available. Hmm,, doesn't the Mercury hold about 200 people. I guess there isn't a rabid response...

the picture is not meant to mock. It's just weird, and it is all over the news which I assume means the family let people take pictures:

Fuck you. It's rude to have to reach around a dead guy for the salsa dip, but he chose to keep standing in the hereafter at his wake too!

I'm as rude as all get out, mofo!

anoy 1226 first off you suck...this kid did more after his death then you will in your entire life son. Don't try to steal his thunder.

@Anon 12:57 - I think BV's timestamp is off by 20 minutes here or so, because I posted my comment after tix were on sale and it incorrectly shows my post as 11:48AM.

Just bought 2 Rival schools tix @ 1:35pm.

If a show at the Mercury Lounge doesn't sell out in an hour and a half, I definitely wouldn't consider it "going quick."

It'll sell out though, obviously.

conspiracy?

hold steady & drive by truckers--at terminal 5? the numbers might work. but the show will suffer, and these bands are all about the show. a poor decision for the kind of bands they are... they can't make money if they put on bad shows.

"It's rather rude to mock a dead person for no apparent reason."
The reason's pretty apparent - gangsta poser bullshit. Love the shirt his mom's wearing - the Lawd's hands behind him almost pleading "what the hell am i supposed to do with HIM?"

Curious as to whether the hold steady & drive by truckers will split the 3 hours at T5, or if the "headliner" with have the longer set.

calling my lawyer for an important amendment to my last will and testament.
