The news that Be Your Own Pet won't be playing the August 7th McCarren Pool show with Black Keys and Tapes n Tapes reminded me that Tapes n Tapes are also playing Sound Fix on August 7th ("Unplugged set + Official Afterparty, 10:30 pm - 11:30 pm). All TnT tour dates below...

Their first album was really good. Their second wasn't great, but wasn't a disaster. I'm really looking forward to seeing where they go from here.

i know people complain about this space, but the sound is decent, and the beers are cheap. their bookings have been disappointing lately, but hopefully fall releases will change that.

sound fix are really genuine people who give local bands like mine a chance in addition to featuring established people all while under the threat of noise/operation/tinkerbell violations so i hope 12:14 is responding to no one in particular.
