What you can't bring to All Points West
Solar Pavillion 2 @ All Points West in Jersey City (drape)
This was the 4th time SITU has done this pavillion. The extraordinary thing is that the space is different each time becasue the parts can be joined in many ways. If there are rules for making it they're rules of thumb with a healthy does intuition for structure.One of the other times they made that pavillion was at Citysol. Below is a list of things you can't bring to All Points West:
From the offical All Points Rule Book
NO InstrumentsLeave your stuffed animals at home. They will deal.
NO Knives / Weapons Etc.
NO Chains / Chain Wallets
NO Blankets
NO Outside Food & Bev
NO Camelpacks
NO Tents
NO Fireworks
NO Flags
NO Refunds Or Exchanges
NO Chairs
NO Video Cameras
NO Audio Recording Devices
NO Bota Bags
NO Professional Cameras
NO Stuffed Animals
NO Pets
NO Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia

I have the same question, the same camera, and the same opinion of my shooting (not a pro). I've asked a few people and they've all said "why risk it?" So, alas, no pics of APW for me since no "pro" cameras are allowed.
Funny thing is they're letting in point-and-shoot cameras, but at the same time not allowing video cameras. Umm, hello...many point and shoots can now shoot video, some in HD and 16:9 format. Idiots.

to clarify a d200 is a high-end semi pro camera, and because the lens is removable, APW will not let you in with it without a photo pass.
