The Trifonic track (the other electro MP3 up there) has its moments. Other moments I don't know about. Anyway, I put it there because it's kind of interesting and features vocals by NYC artist Christina Courtin, who, is opening for Suzanne Vega tonight.

Jennifer O'Connor's new video (a song off her now-out new Matador album) below...

What else?

Jennifer O'Connor - Always In Your Mind

The debut video from Jennifer O'Connor's brand new album "Here With Me", out now on Matador Records.

@5:29
There's usually some dude with a tricked-out boom box (and by tricked-out I mean it's held together with packing tape) groovin' in front of the Starbucks at 23rd & 3rd.

We should get those two together.

Posted by nick | August 22, 2008 11:06 AM

How was last night's show at the Stone?

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2008 11:10 AM

Huey was, as they say, ON last night. It was just a fun show. But, man, where the hell did all those cops come from?? I didn't see half as many patroling Siren this year. Guess they dig themselves some Huey.

Too bad original guitarist Chris Hayes isn't with him any more. The new guy, Stef, is good but the sound is leaning more towards blues-ey rifs and not that jumpy "Eighties" sound we're used to. But, in fairness, he held his own just fine.

I'm still waiting for a t-shirt that says "The Biggest Penis In The Business Since 1980".

Anyone have the set list for the Huey Lewis show?

(I actually just wanted to type that to see how ridiculous it looked in print: already I am LOL).

Posted by greg | August 22, 2008 11:24 AM

Huey's hung like bear.
