I liked the venue. Didn't like the bands. Both bored me to tears. Bowery presents needs some decent bands, or lower the ticket fees.

That is cause these people do not know how to rock! 1st band put everyone to sleep. But the Wolf Parade was AWESOME! There is no denying that. The club was bumpin. They played a long set, almost 2 hours! You rule WP!

i think that both the good and bad hyperbole is inaccurate. wolf parade started flat and boring and built up to some pretty decent jams from their first album by the end of their set and the encore. if the whole show were like the encore with some energy that actually affected the crowd, then maybe it would have been really good. as it was, it was more like, 'decent'. i missed wintersleep cuz it started too early.

i went with no expectations, as i never bothered to listen to either band..... i think i liked wintersleep more, they had a couple good songs. wolfmother was pretty good. er i mean wolf guitar..no wait, was it Howlin' wolf? hm...we are wolves? no, wait, thats the wolfmother / we are scientists colab....right? Superwolf?? Supertramp?? who the hell did i see the other night?? ooh right, wolfparade!
yeah, they were "okay" - i went because my friend wanted to see them and i had nothing going on.
