I haven't gone since they switched buildings. How many people does this hold? Is it still behind glass? Seats or standing?

this would be amazing... if I didn't have a job. Damn it! Sometimes being a responsible adult sucks :(

Just signed up for Bang Bang Eche. Any idea how many people this room holds?
Posted by Anon. | September 30, 2008 11:25 PM
i worked in the room last year during it and it's a live room so there's a few iso rooms off to the sides they had people in, id say they'd allow 25-40 people

This is unreal that most of them are already full! Anyone know the policy on just showing up day of show?

it is at gibson studios so the space holds about 50-75 people to attend. last year i worked the entire show and the only one that was packed was band of horses. a lot of people DO NOT SHOW UP which is incredibly sad because these are amazing shows...every single one. if you are at all able to swing by you defintely should. plus, this is the best radio station in the world and it is a rare experience to see people playing free shows for the love of music in a setting like this. their annual fall pledge drive is coming up so don't forget to donate if you enjoy non-profits and djs who believe in the pure love of music.

Actually sheryl and Anon 1:29pm I am gonna call bullshit on both of you. I went to most of the shows last year and the year before and many were packed besides Band of Horses. For the bigger well known bands you will not get in if you did not get in on the RSVP. They had people checking at the door. Plus there is no way 50-75 people are in for each show. Way less than that.

Wow. Anyway...
For the record this was not posted too late. They were all still available when it was posted last night (thx again anon).
also, as of this comment there are still four with slots let.
Also, most people that sign up don't show up, so people can always try to go anyway.
thanks for reading!

Wow, BrooklynVegan may have to be renamed BrooklynSarahPalinVegan with that little distortion above. You were without a doubt late on the post. Most of the shows so far are just listed as TBA. By the time you got around to posting, the big named ones listed such as Lykke Li, Place to Bury Strangers, Deerhoof and even 2 of the TBA's were all filled up. And yes people can try to go anyway but again with the big bands most people show up and they do check their list at the door. And again the place only holds a very small number of people so ya know there is that working against ya as well.

Hey BV. I wouldn't even address 12:17pm with a response.
Thanks for all the great info. Keep on, keepin' on!

BrooklynSarahPalinVegan = one of the most cornball awful attempts at insults and/or humor ever. I shuddered a little. And, yeah, everything was still available except for A Place to Bury Strangers and the 2 TBAs following it when post went up. I got in for everything I wanted.

I also was able to sign up for Deerhoof and Hercules and Love Affair thanks to this post. thanks BV!!

Lies and Censorship. The Hallmarks of any good blog.

What a dumb thing to argue about, but for what it's worth, there were plenty - relatively speaking - of slots left on almost every show when this posting first went up. The only one who appears to be lying is the disgruntled anonymous poster who is making these claims.
