FADER: What's going on right now with you guys?
Simon Amazing Baby: Recording and playing and recording. We're releasing a single in the UK hopefully in October, album dropping in 2009. Label stuff is on the DL for now.

How long have the two of you been playing together?
Simon: Since January 1st 2008.

How many bands were you in before you knew you had found one that might stick?
Simon: In Brooklyn, only two. In New York City I have been in about 20. I can't wait for one to stick.

Amazing Baby's next NYC show is free. Last night (Sept 15) they opened for A Place to Bury Strangers and Sian Alice Group at Music Hall of Williamsburg. More pictures from that, below...

seriously? this band SUCKS, i saw them open for bloc party in august and the crowd was pretty much laughing. basically you put every "rock band" clique, throw in a lack of talent and you've got Amazing Baby.

true true...but this will pass VERY soon. It's inevitable with these kinds of bands. Theyre not the real deal, and that singers not ready for primetime, he looks like an out of shape damon albarn and he sings with that generic brooklyn bullshit voice. This crap will be forgotten quick.
