Beck

Many festival-goers gave the 2008 Austin City Limits Music festival a thumbs up on its third and final day Sunday.

"Yeah, it's been good -- Beck was good," said Connor Hall.

Karen Elliott lives in Austin and has attended almost every ACL Fest.

"It's been a great festival this year; we've really enjoyed it," said Elliott [KVUE]

Beck and MGMT (who played Austin City Limits on Saturday too) are now on tour and making their way to NYC to play three shows at United Palace. MGMT is opening all three and then playing two of their own NYC shows at the end of October too. More ACL pics below...

Beck played a secret show at a coffee shop the night before in El Paso. Details and pics here:

I'm not the biggest Beck fan, all I know and like from him is pretty much the stuff from the 90s and early this decade, but he did a really good job Saturday night. Not only was he my favorite headliner this year, I think he was my favorite headliner or any of my two years at this festival. I don't think anybody who was around during the lae 90s can resist dancing a little bit during songs like "devil's haircut", "where it's at", and "loser." Plus, his guitarist was really, really hot.

He did end pretty early though, so that kinda sucked.

I’m not just the president, I’m also a client!

I can't wait for the United Palace shows. I hope he plays a different set every night. Yes, I'm going to all three.

he's said that he think this will be his last tour for a while.

I wish he sent on for the time he was scheduled for but he did do a relatively good job of going through his whole catalouge.

Such a great show. Jessica Dobson did a great job playing along side him. Who cares he cut out 15 minutes early? It was an incredible show.
